The course addresses the issue of both environmental and social sustainability related to the textile and fashion sector. Through the application of the Life Cycle Thinking approach, the main critical issues related to the different phases of the product-service cycle of the sector are framed, and strategies for sustainable design - Life Cycle Design - are introduced. Finally, some of the qualitative and quantitative sustainability assessment tools (LCA) are put into practice.
